Learning is one of my internal strengths.
I love learning new things and expounding on new discoveries I’ve gained along the way. I love knowledge and learning skills. Books are also my niche. I have this mantra in life that possibilities are endless as long as you are willing to learn. The brain is the most powerful organ in our entire body system. It is like a vacuum that sucks up whatever you feed it. It is like a USB drive that stores all the data we put into it. Once you train it, it becomes powerful enough to make you into a better person.
When I was a kid, I did piano, guitar, and drum lessons (I’m a musician by the way). I also have a regular vocal training since I compete at classical and pop singing contests. I started competing in singing contests ever since 1st grade. Here in the Philippines, classical singing is called “Kundiman” and pop singing is called “OPM” or Original Pinoy Music. I also compete in folk dance contests in our school before.
Other than activities like these in school, I am also actively participating in our church activities and that was when I was introduced to jazz dance. Point is, I did a lot of musical training activities before and I am so grateful because of that. It made me who I am today. I’ve come to a realisation that I am the type of person who really loves to challenge myself and go beyond my limits.
It made me who I am today.
Currently I have an acoustic band named Sweet Serenade (as seen on the image below).
Aside from music, these are the following things that I am also currently learning:
- Events and Production management – I want to focus more on wedding coordination. Right now I am managing an OTD wedding coordination team called The Evento. You may want to check out my fb page for more information on my team. 🙂
- Digital Marketing – I want to do freelancing jobs like being a virtual assistant and managing an online shop. (Currently in the process of learning this one. By the way, I am enjoying it.)
- Yoga – I started training my body to become as flexible as ever last October 2018. I’m planning to get an instructor’s certification next year. (wish me luck on this!)
I never grow tired of learning.
Maybe because it makes me discover more about myself. It makes me realise that what was once impossible has now become possible because I am willing to learn and do it no matter how difficult it may be at the start. I just keep on learning and trying until I master it. I have a goal in mind and I want to learn as much as I can, spend hours in something productive, and to also increase my income capacity.
Learning never stops. As long as you do it, staying positive, disciplined, and motivated.
